Wilson High School is a needs based school that serves approximately 500 students throughout the school year. The mode of instructional delivery is independent study. The student population represents the highly academic, the "at risk" and the pregnant or parenting teen. Wilson has been in existence for 29 years and is located on the Educational Options campus on Benton Street.

Wilson High School's unique structure provides two programs specifically designed to meet the individual needs of the students:

- The Young Parent's Center (YPC)
