Hello!
I have been a teacher at Wilson
High School since 1982! Before that, I was an
elementary school teacher for seven years. I also
taught several pre-school classes while my three grown
children were young. I love working here at Wilson, and
have many cherished memories of students who have
touched my life through the years.
I was born and raised in San Jose;
received my college degree and teaching credential from
San Jose State University. I have a master’s degree in
Education that I proudly earned at San Jose State
University in 2000! I love school, and plan on working
on a Doctorate degree someday.
I am a teacher in the Young
Parents’ Center, where I have worked for over 20 years.
I am also the Math curriculum coordinator, and tutor
students in the Math Lab each afternoon.
I can be found on campus in room
29, or in room 27 for Math Lab on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. My phone number is 423-3600, and my email is
vshelton@scusd.net. Feel free to leave me a message
any time.
