Welcome to Wilson High
School! Here are some details to let you know what
is expected when I ask you to be prompt, polite and
prepared.
You will come each week at the assigned time with your
finished work. At the top of this page is an example
how you will title all the work you turn in to me. Each
week I will give you homework assignments to complete
for the following class. An assignment might be five
lessons in math or seven stories in an English book for
an average of 25 hours a week. This will meet the
standard necessary for attendance. You may be assigned
more work so that you can catch up on credits as well.
You may submit up to seven hours of P.E. weekly.
If you are
sick, have your parent call the school at 423-3600
before class, and arrange to have your work dropped
off and homework picked up. Please schedule
appointments and family activities for non-school
days.
Remember to bring paper and pencil to
class as we will have in-class assignments and projects
each week. If you finish these assignments early you
may work on your homework, but remember that class is a
quiet working time. You will be expected to follow all
the school rules concerning dress, behavior and cell
phone usage.
If you have questions about your
assignments, need extra help or to take tests, I am
available in room 28 on Tuesdays 9-3 and on Thursdays
1:45-3:30. My voice mail can be reached at 423-3600,
x6545, my school e-mail is
kgrimes@scu.k12.ca.us.
The staff of Wilson High School is
committed to helping each one of you reach the goal of
high school graduation, so please don’t hesitate to ask
questions. We look forward to a good year. |
