I am pleased
to be a guidance counselor at Wilson High School. This
school shares my belief that every student has
the ability to succeed in school when they feel valued,
are aware of their strengths, and in an environment that
fits their learning style and needs. Evidence of this
is in the students’ accounts of perseverance and
accomplishments.
To you,
the student – As part of the school team, I will
help you in the development of your vision for
academic, career and personal success. High school is a
stepping stone to your future. I will assist you in
developing a plan to meet the graduation requirements,
while discussing and providing information about your
post-high school options. Here’s a quote you may find
helpful:
“I’m not telling you it’s going
to be easy…
I’m telling you it’s going to
be worth it!”
Art Williams
To you,
the parent – Being a parent myself, I know of
challenges we encounter when raising our children, and I
am grateful for the guidance I received from school and
community resources. I look forward to being one of
those resources to you.
I hope you’ll
find your dedication to school and planning for the
future “worth it!” You’ll find me in Room 32 on
Tuesdays and Fridays. I can also be reached by email:
jehall@scusd.net
or phone, 408-423-3612. I’ll look forward to working
with you. Have a great school year! Julie Hall, School
